For the second year in a row, science students from St. Michael Indian School demonstrated exceptional prowess in the Chemical Olympics events held at Southern Utah and New Mexico State Universities.
At the first competition in Cedar City, Utah on April 30th, the Cardinal teams earned two first, two seconds and a fourth.
On May 5th in Las Cruces, the Cardinals earned one first, two seconds and two thirds in team events and one first, two seconds and a third in individual events. SMHS science teacher Jim Mangold coaches the Cardinal Chemical Olympics teams. Way to go, Chemists!
