Principal's Message
Since 1946, St. Michael High School has provided students with an array of academic, athletic, and activity opportunities. These opportunities, in turn, challenge students to acquire and develop the knowledge and skills they need to be successful in life beyond high school. We are committed to preparing our students within a rigorous, relevant, and personal educational experience.
We and our St. Michael community expect those things that are best for our students. Whether their future paths take them to community, state, or private colleges; the world of work; serving our country in the Armed Forces; or other endeavors.
St. Michael High School remains a lighthouse school because its excellence is the success of its students and their lives beyond these halls.
Many of our students come back to the community to live and/or to send their own children to this high school.
We are not only a high school with a rich tradition but we are also one that embodies the Catholic values and aspirations of St. Katharine Drexel.
We commit ourselves to the education of the St. Michael community’s most valued resources: its children, our students.
Our goal is to help them write their own books and to become the authors of their own destinies.
If students are significantly and positively different when they walk across the stage and receive their diplomas than they entered the front door for the first time as freshmen then we will have accomplished that goal.
www.smis1902.org is also an important and timely avenue for us to communicate with parents, staff, students, and our St. Michael community.
To that end, if you have suggestions for improving it, please pass them along.
It is an extreme honor and privilege to work with and for you.
Have a great Cardinal school year!
