St. Michael vs Fredonia

The Cardinal JV ladies improved their season match record to 2-1 after sweeping visiting Fredonia in two matches played Saturday at the Saint Michael Indian School gymnasium. The JV won the first match 2-0 (25-12, 25-9) and also swept the later match (25-23, 25-14).

Fredonia's varsity edged past the Lady Cardinals to claim victory in the first game of the varsity match (25-23), but Saint Michael's athletes bounced back to win three straight games, with progressively wider margins (25-20, 25-19, 25-16), to claim the match and extending their winning record to 2-0.
