Enrollment Criteria

St. Michael High School admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. St. Michael High School is not, however, disposed to accept students with special needs beyond those of the regular education classes or Title I, ESEA intervention.

  • Conferring with candidates and parents regarding motivation for selecting St. Michael High School.
  • Evaluating academic/attendance records and standardized test scores from transcripts/report cards of previous school.
  • Administration of high school entrance test and completion of student questionnaire
  • Ensuring that the candidate and parents understand that, regardless of religious preference or affiliation, students will be assigned to Theology classes, and are expected to participate in school liturgies and religious services.

St. Michael High School will generally not accept any student who:

  • Was previously dismissed from the school.
  • Has an academic record that cannot be reconciled with the school’s graduation standards.
